Relax café

A wonderful discovery just a few hundred meters from our vacation rental. The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. A large terrace and a few tables on the mini golf course (possibility of renting clubs and balls during the meal to keep the children occupied while keeping an eye on them). Everything we ate there was very good, a no-frills menu but with good products. Children and parents alike, we had a great time there!

Hello everyone, I've been traveling regularly to the Atlantic coast ever since my father discovered this lovely campsite in L'Amelie in 1992. Last week (August 28, 2025) we wanted to go to Vensac – there's a nice market there every Thursday (weather permitting) during the season. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't so good that Thursday, so we needed another place to get something tasty to eat. On our way back from Vensac to Soulac, we discovered "le Relax café." Actually, it was only because our son was nagging us terribly: "He wanted to play mini golf!" So, we stopped and got out. A very friendly waitress showed us a table. My beautiful wife, who, despite her camping phobia, chose the Atlantic coast again this year, got a Super Bock beer, I got a Leffe Blonde, and of course, our son, the little terrorist, got a Fanta. We were there again today, September 4, 2025, and the super-friendly waitress immediately brought us a Super Bock, a Leffe Blonde, and a Fanta. I had the carbonara today – wow, the best carbonara I've had in years! My wife and son are fans of the burgers. I also had a small bite, and the burgers are top-notch, as is the price-performance ratio! The Relax Café has a cool 80s style. There's a bar, a pool table, and awesome surfing and snowboarding videos on a flat screen at the bar. The owner is a totally relaxed and friendly guy! You pay at the bar! At our first "date," the crew sat at a camping table and "prepared" for the evening. ``` Especially as a German, I often feel less than welcome when I think of the beer bellies, tennis socks, and sandal-wearing people of our great nation, but here it's completely different – ​​zero resentment! If you want a local, warm experience away from the tourist rip-offs—and you can really believe me, my wife loves eating out—the Relax Café is the perfect place for you! The menu is clear, just the way I like it, and there's something for everyone! Vegetarians are also well catered for, and I think if you ask nicely as a vegan, you'll definitely get some lettuce leaves with olive oil... ;-) I'm already looking forward to my wife choosing the Atlantic again... What a lovely surprise in Grayan and the hospital. A great place to enjoy delicious mussels. Generous, lovely service, beautiful terrace and tables in the middle of a mini-golf course. A few kilometers from Soulac and Montalivet. A must-see. Lovely bar with pool table. I almost forgot to tell you about the homemade planter's punch... a must-try. Open from 5 p.m. to midnight. Remember to make a reservation.

Behind its simple appearance and limited menu lies a warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and good food. The manager is very friendly, cheerful, and accommodating. I recommend it to families 👪 ++ The mini-golf is a good ➕ addition.

Nice restaurant for a drink and a meal with friends or family. We had the mussels marinière with fries, yum. The space is pleasant with trees and flowers, and the kids can play mini golf while they wait.

extremely good I have never eaten a Landes salad so garnished and really good, congratulations to the chef! The servers are very nice, I recommend!

Super nice bar on the way back from Gurp beach, perfect for a little aperitif and a game of mini-golf. The place is pleasant and quiet and parking is easy. I didn't try the food but the menu looked good. As for drinks, the selection and prices are good.

The relaxed atmosphere is chill and friendly. Definitely the best place for mussels and fries and burgers in the Médoc! Bouchot steaks in an XL casserole dish, perfectly cooked to order, and crispy homemade fries. Very generous dishes. Ultra-reasonable prices. Clients include local regulars and seasonal vacationers. Concerts, mini-golf, billiards, a TV screen, indoor and outdoor tables, and in the middle of the mini-golf course, a marquee with sofas, and pets are welcome. Everyone, from children to adults, mixes with each other in a spirit of mutual respect. Super-friendly owner and top-notch service. Don't change a thing! In short, a place not to be missed under any circumstances if you're in the area (reservations recommended in season).

Nice little restaurant. The burgers with homemade fries were very good, and the dessert was delicious. Ideal for kids, right next to a miniature golf course. The service was super friendly and attentive.
